She looked at Huni-sempai and Emelie have fun then looked back at Haruhi by himself and felt absolutely terrible for leaving him. "Y'know what? They'll live without me Fujioka-kun, but you've been so kind to me, I can't let you stay there by yourself." She was walking back over to him but tripped over her own feet and face-planted in the sand. ...way to be graceful... "Ouch..." She got up and brushed the sand off herself, "There you go, you've now seen the true me, a hopelessly pathetic klutz." She sat down next to him again.

Haruhi jumped to her feet when Izanami fell. "Suzume-san! Are you alright?!" She rexlaxed some when Izanami replied and sat back down. She sneezed again and took some of the medicine that Izanami gave her. "Arigato again for the medicine, Suzume-san. It helps alot. And I don't think you are a klutz. Everyone has their moments." Haruhi smiled again.

She laughed, "True, true, but my moments seem to last 24 hours a day. Oh, and please call me Izanami okay? Honestly I would be a little more comfortable with it. Ah," she stopped suddenly and started waving her hands, "you don't have to though! Don't worry about the medicine, I'm just glad I could help!"

Haruhi laughed. "Its alright, Suzu--! Ah...Izanami-chan." Haruhi was glad that she could make a friend that wasn't the host club, though she felt bad for lying to Izanami about her gender.

Haruhi nodded. "Oh yes. I love the beach, just not in the winter." She laughed and sneezed again, groaning as she did. "Gah, I hate colds..." She looked at Izanami. "Anyways, do you like the beach Izanami-chan?"

“Truth be told, I’m don’t particularly like the ocean. Water scares me a bit. Well, a lot of water scares me. I usually have nightmares about huge tsunamis right in front of me.” She smiled, “but the beach in general is nice.” She looked out over the ocean. “So, Fujioka-kun, could I ask about your parents?”

Haruhi smiled gently. "I live with my father. My mother died when I was 7 and since then we have been getting along alright on our own." She drew a smily face in the sand with her finger. "I miss her alot..." She looked up and smiled at Izanami. "Ah, I'm sorry Izanami-chan. I must be depressing you."

She put her hands over her mouth and gasped. "I-I-I'm so sorry Fujioka-kun! I didn't mean to bring that up!" She was now on the verge of tears. Sure, she was abandoned but at least she still had parents, not like Haruhi.
